Annie Vail, LPC, CHT

Annie (she/her) is a Somatic Psychotherapist and Certified Hakomi Therapist, committed to supporting her clients on their process towards transformation, healing, and embracing a more authentic and fulfilling life. With a Master’s degree in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling from Naropa University, her approach is both holistic and somatic, integrating mindfulness, body-centered psychotherapy, and relational attunement. She draws from extensive training in Hakomi Therapy, Internal Family Systems and Gestalt, PACT Couple therapy, Recreation-of-the-Self, Non-violent Communication and Mindfulness Compassionate Dialogue Therapy, and attachment work. Her approach helps clients access their innate wisdom, and cultivate greater empowerment, authenticity, relational awareness and well-being. Annie believes in honoring each individual's wholeness, while supporting them in recognizing and shifting deep-seated patterns that shape their lives.
In her practice, Annie works both with adult individuals and couples. Her therapeutic style is present, relational, and deeply attuned–offering both warmth, compassion, and honest reflection. Her passion lies in supporting her clients to know themselves better, heal from the past, create thriving relationships, and to step further into their own authenticity. Outside of her practice, Annie finds joy in nature, movement, dance, travel, and time with loved ones and community, all of which nourish her commitment to personal and professional growth.
