Dr. Jess (she/her) is a naturopathic physician specializing in integrative mental health, with a deep commitment to treating the mind and body as an interconnected whole. She focuses on understanding how the nervous system develops and interacts with other bodily systems to support healing and resilience.Her practice incorporates bodywork, mindfulness-based somatic processing, and a whole-body approach to care. In this, she can provide basic primary care medical support including general and specialty lab work, medication management, STI testing, and basic screenings.
Dr. Jess works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, OCD, chronic pain, PMS, PMDD, PCOS, and sleep issues, among other conditions. Through her unique approach, she helps patients who have struggled to find relief through traditional talk therapy or conventional treatments by addressing the physical and mental emotional components together. Utilizing mindfulness and craniosacral therapy she uses gentle massage techniques blending shiatsu and Swedish modalities to facilitate the release of stored tension and trauma within the body.
Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Jess has always felt at home in the Pacific Northwest. She earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and International Studies with a minor in Chemistry from Oregon State University before serving in the Peace Corps, where she worked on public health initiatives. Inspired by her experiences, she pursued a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Master’s in Integrative Mental Health at the National University of Natural Medicine. Jess identifies as LGBTQ2S+ herself and is passionate about providing sex positive, poly and gender-affirming, trauma-informed care that is inclusive and attuned to the diverse identities and backgrounds of her patients. She is dedicated to supporting individuals in healing from relationship trauma, managing chronic stressors, and cultivating resilience in both body and mind.
